At Eddie Bauer Store, we want you to be completely satisfied with your fashion purchases. If for any reason you’re not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process for most items within 15 days of receipt.

We stand behind the quality of our dresses, jeans, shorts, skirts, swimwear, and tops. If an item doesn’t meet your expectations, we’ll make it right.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Item must be in its original condition – unworn, unwashed, with tags attached
  • Item must be in the original packaging
  • You must have the original proof of purchase
  • Return must be initiated within 15 days of delivery

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Swimwear (if the hygiene seal has been removed)
  • Final sale items (clearly marked at time of purchase)

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact Us – Email our customer service team at [email protected] with your order number and details about the item you wish to return or exchange.
  2. Receive Authorization – We’ll respond within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions.
  3. Package Your Item – Securely pack the item in its original packaging with all tags attached.
  4. Ship Your Return – Send the package to our returns center at:

    We recommend using a trackable shipping method as you’re responsible for the item until it reaches us.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective item).
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • For exchanges, we’ll cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to you.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed
  • Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account

Exchange Process

For exchanges:

  • We’ll ship your replacement item once we receive and process your return
  • If the item you want is out of stock, we’ll issue a refund instead
  • Exchanges are subject to product availability

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include photos of the damage or defect
  • We’ll arrange for a free return and send a replacement at no additional cost
